How long have you been in business?
Since July of 1970. A little over 40 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Well designed and installed Residential Lawn Sprinklers. We only service what we install. Our first service call is usually 8 to 12 years down the road and all of our normal service takes less than an hour and a half to repair.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My Father started the business as a second job to his full time occupation as a Sargeant in the DPS. I worked summers for the company until I graduated from High School in 1975 and then went full time.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am still in business. The average life of Lawn sprinkler Company in this area is 3 to 5 years. We have always thought irrigation systems should conserve water and therefore we have always done a far superior system than any of our competition.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
1 and No. I just want to stay in business in order to take care of my 40 years of customers.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I own the company and run it with Jim Ratliff. Jim has been with Key Sprinkler for over 30 years.
What are your hours of operation?
Due to the economy, I have not been able to afford, nor had work for a secreatary for the last 3 years. I am the estimator, secreatary, scheduler, and Owner. We run an very small company and always call back the same day in case you do not catch us in the office.
