How long have you been in business?
I opened my photography business in 2000 after completing a two year degree program in photography at Austin Community College.
What is your primary product or service?
I specialize in wedding photography because I love it. My style is best described as a combination of photojournalism and artful portraitature designed to capture "real" emotions which tell the unique and individual story of a wedding couple.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I always had a passion for photographing people. After photographing my first wedding, i was hooked. Having an opportunity to photograph a loving couple along with their families on their most special day is the biggest honor that a person can have. I get a front row seat to the best reality show on earth. I love to be apart of that event and provide the memories to be passed along to the next generation.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have both a right brain and a left brain. My early business experiences as a marketing executive in high technology has taught me how to effectively run a business. That covered, I can focus on providing my customers with quality photography in a professional atmosphere.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I operate out of my home and conduct all of my sessions at outdoor natural settings or at locations requested by my clients.
What type of payments do you accept?
I honor cash and checks only.
Which areas do you service?
I am located in Austin Texas but I am happy to travel to any destination to support my clients.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I am the sole owner of Francois Photography.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
I have been told that in the case of a home fire, my pictures and/or photo albums would be the first thing that they would save after they got their family out. That flatters me immensely.
